3

 Innovation Leadership Award

While innovation it is key success factor of any company these days, it is extremely important to recognize new entrants as a driver of innovation. Those young entrepreneurial companies that challenge the status quo and shake things up. Upstarts that have managed to come up with a game-changing technology or approach that causes others to say, “Why didn’t I think of that?”

The winner of this award is entrepreneurial, has taken on the risk and personal sacrifice that so often defines the road to a novel solution. They are not likely to have a strong balance sheet or be in position to say “we’ve made it”. Whether their innovation has solved an age-old problem or opened-up a completely new frontier, what we will be able to say is that this young company has pushed through a significant barrier to benefit them and the industry as a whole.
